Carlos Quinteros is a fine arts major with a passion for graphic design. He prefers working in graphite, colored pencil, and ink, but also explores mediums such as acrylic and watercolor to bring his ideas to life.
Inspired by the artists who have influenced him, Carlos shares, “My inspiration for creating art comes from the possibility to evoke emotion and inspire others.” He hopes that by pouring his soul into his work, he will encourage others to give their all to their own talents and goals.
Carlos plans to transfer to the University of Houston to continue developing his skills. In the future, he plans to work professionally in graphic design. He also hopes to create and sell his own art while building connections and gaining diverse experiences as an artist.

Karla Burgos graduated from San Jac in 2019 with an Associate of Arts in fine arts. She went on to graduate from the University of Houston - Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design. Check out what she's up to now and view some of her artwork over the years.
Karla is also pursuing her master's degree at the ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering. "Apply to as many opportunities as you can—art calls, intern opportunities, etc. Rejection is part of the art world, so don't get discouraged by it. You never know what your next chance is or when it's waiting for you."
